It’s hard to believe it’s already time for back to school and all the business that comes with it—packing lunches, sporting practices and games, field trips, fundraisers, and so much more. We know how difficult it can be to balance all of that, especially for multiple children, on top of all the other things you’re responsible for.

When you have so much going on, it’s easy to let housekeeping fall to the wayside, but there’s a better way! Use technology this school year and beyond to help keep your house in order without driving yourself crazy. In this article, we’ll go over some of our top cleaning appliances that can save you time.

Robot Vacuums  - Robot vacuums have been on the market for years now, and they can save you a lot of time and headache keeping your floors clean. Many are programmable, so you can set them to start automatically at a certain time (like when everyone is at school or work). Some also have auto-emptying features and still other can be set up to work with Siri or Alexa.

Robot Mops - While many people may already have a robot vacuum, not everyone has a robot mop or even is aware they’re available. Some models work as both a robot mop and vacuum while others offer separate mop and vacuum models.

Steam Mops - If you prefer to do your mopping yourself, steam mops can be a great option that still saves you time. Through the use of steam, these mops make it much easier to get dirt and grime without as much scrubbing, saving you time and hassle.

Steam Scrubbers - Much like steam mops, there are a variety of steam scrubbers on the market equipped to handle a wide variety of surfaces in your home from appliances to toilets to windows to countertops and more. Due to the steam they use like their mop counterparts, they remove dirt, grime, and stains much more easily without all the scrubbing.

Steam Closet  - Steam closet technology uses steam to clean, sanitize, and refresh clothing or household items without the use of toxic chemicals. They’re a great option for clothes that might otherwise go into a pile on that chair in your bedroom—not dirty enough for the dirty clothes but not clean enough to be hung back up—saving you time and getting more use out of your clothes. They can also help you avoid a trip to the dry cleaners with delicate items sensitive to heat or pressure and help you sanitize and refresh hard to clean items like backpacks, small stuffed animals, pillows, and more. Additionally, the steam closet helps remove wrinkles from your clothes, saving you precious time ironing.

New Cleaning Appliances - While the appliances listed above can be a great option for cleaning around your house and helping with laundry, sometimes a time saving cleaning hack can be replacing some of our bigger appliances like our washing machine, dryer, or dishwasher. If you find your clothes just aren’t getting clean, are taking too long to dry, or you’re constantly having to pre-wash or rewash dishes because of your old dishwasher, it may be time to invest in new washer, dryer, and/or dishwasher to save yourself time and headache.
