If there ever was a season for hosting, it would almost certainly be fall! Between tailgating, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and holiday parties, there are so many opportunities to have guests over, and that can mean a lot of work for you and your kitchen. In this article, we’ll go over our top fall kitchen essentials that will add some seasonal flare to your regular set up and help make your job a little easier over the next few months!

●      Portable Slow Cooker: Who doesn’t love a slow cooker for easy dinners? They’re perfect for fall soups, dips, and even slow cooker sides for Thanksgiving. What’s even better are the slow cookers with locking lids, making them perfect for easy travel. Whether it’s a dip for a tailgate party, slow cooker mac and cheese for Thanksgiving, or just a cozy soup at home, you’ll be ready for anything!

●      Instant Pot: Much like slow cookers, an Instant Pot offers so much convenience. While slow cookers are perfect for meals you can set early in the day and forget, and Instant Pot is perfect for those days when you get home and you forgot to take something out of the freezer.  It can also do the job of a rice cooker, steamer, saute pan, yogurt maker, and warming pot, making it the perfect versatile appliance for your kitchen.

●      Wooden Cutting Board: A wooden cutting board may seem like a simple item, but it’s actually a lot more versatile than you might think. Obviously you can use it for your normal chopping, but it also adds some nice warmth to your kitchen as a display piece. And when you need to throw a quick appetizer together in a pinch, it can make the perfect setting for a charcuterie board.

●      Decorative Accents: If you’re hosting, it’s only natural to want to make things feel seasonal and pretty. You don’t have to go all out with fall or football themed decor, but a few carefully chosen pieces, like a couple serving trays or tea towels, can help your get together feel just a little bit more festive and pretty.

●      Stand Mixer: Let’s face it, the holidays can be rough on your kitchen. There are lots of things to be mixed and baked, and that old hand mixer of yours just doesn’t cut it. If you’re hosting this fall, it’s time to upgrade to a stand mixer. Not only does it make desserts and breads much quicker and easier, it can also help out with mixing things like hamburger up or even shredding boneless chicken breasts.

●      Nonstick Bakeware Set: Speaking of baking, nonstick bakeware is another fall kitchen essential. It’s easy to clean, dishwasher safe, and it looks clean and classic, making it perfect even for serving at an impromptu get together.
